Sponsorship is one of the most effective and rewarding ways of making a lasting difference to a child's life and future.
Whilst education in Zambia is free until the end of Grade 7 a pupil still needs uniform, shoes and stationery to be able to attend school. Often this is beyond the means of a family that relies on substistence farming. Orphans and children made vulnerable by their parent's ill health (mostly HIV/Aids related) make up the vast majority of pupils sponsored through Project Luangwa.
Project Luangwa arranges sponsorship on a one to one basis; each sponsor has their own individual child. Your gift will include a sponsorship letter followed by reports and possibly even letters or drawings (depending on age) from the child at the end of each term. It can become a very personal gift as we encourage correspondence from both the child and the sponsor.
