Tribal Textiles, The National Milling Corporation and Project Luangwa have joined forces to benefit the children of South Luangwa

Using the iconic Zambian mealie-meal sack Tribal Textiles have created an exciting range of bags and accessories. Maize meal is used to make nshima, the staple food of Zambia, making this a truly Zambian product.
Recycled mealie-meal sacks are matched with beautiful Tribal fabrics and local members of the community are trained to sew them into 'AMAIZING BAGS'.  This not only creates employment for 3 or 4 local people but helps Project Luangwa support the community too.

There are currently four bag designs; the shopping bag meant for your groceries, a sachel suitable for use as either a shoulder bag or child's sachel, a lovely shoulder bag and a large zipped shopper.  Also available are a purse and a pencil case.
100% of the profits are are come directly to Project Luangwa.
